Dr. Brian Still is a distinguished psychiatrist and Holon Health’s Chief Medical Officer. He has extensive experience in treating mood disorders, depression, bipolar disorder, and addiction medicine. As Holon’s CMO, he collaborates with a multidisciplinary team, providing psychiatric perspectives and expertise to enhance patient care.
Dr. Still earned his medical degree from the University of South Carolina School of Medicine and completed his residency at the Medical University of South Carolina. In addition to his work at Holon, he manages psychiatric patients in private practice at Carolina Addiction and Psychiatric Treatment Associates, focusing on medication management and supportive psychotherapy. He is also a consulting psychiatrist and Medical Director, providing consultative services on managed care while leading initiatives in case management, quality improvement, fraud reviews, and medical necessity criteria drafting.
Dr. Still’s diverse experience includes several medical appointments, including staff psychiatrist and medical director roles. He has delivered telepsychiatry services to rural county mental health clinics and worked as a full-time psychiatrist at a private inpatient psychiatric facility. His treatment expertise spans general inpatient, geriatric, addiction, acute/agitated, and child patients, and he has performed ECT treatments and served on performance improvement committees.
